Prior to the opening of Rethinking Nordic Colonialism, a free 148-page long User Guide was published in 6,000 copies. It contained a full event program as well as detailed descriptions of all the participants and their contributions. The User Guide is now out of print, but an on-line version is available here.

On November 25, 2006, a comprehensive website and an off-line version of the website on DVD were launched during a series of simultaneous closing events of Rethinking Nordic Colonialism in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, and Stockholm.
